During your stay in Bronovo, you will be able to make use of the hospital's many facilities.

Food and drink during your stay

Your daily meals are freshly prepared in the hospital kitchen. You can consult a dietician on special dietary wants. Have you been prescribed a diet during your admission? This will be taken into account in the menu choices.

When compiling the menu, we take into account wants and needs relating to religious beliefs or ideology (as long as we have been informed).

  • Breakfast and lunch
Every morning between 07.30 and 08.30 hours and in the afternoon between 12.00 and 13.00 hours, a member of the hotel service staff will visit you with the sandwich buffet trolley. From this you can choose what you would like to have for your sandwich meal. The sandwich buffet provides various types of bread and bread substitutes, such as gingerbread and rusks. It also has a varied assortment of fillings. You will of course also be offered tea, coffee, milk and buttermilk.
  • The cooked evening meal
You can choose from 2 menus. Every morning, at about 09.00 hours, a member of the hotel service staff comes along to hand out selection forms, and at 10.30 your choice will be noted. It helps everyone if you have already had a look at the menu and made your choice. Any questions you may have can be put to the member of the hotel service personnel.

Joint chapel services

A joint (ecumenical) chapel service is held every Sunday morning, at 10.00 hours. Family-members and other interested parties are warmly welcome to attend these. They are generally led by one of the spiritual counsellors. On Friday afternoon, volunteers will visit you to tell you about the planned service. On Sunday morning there are other volunteers who, if necessary, will bring you to and from the chapel in your bed or wheelchair. Once the service has ended, there is an opportunity to drink a cup of coffee together.

Information about current chapel service can be found in the agenda.

Chapel/Meditation centre

The chapel is located on the hospital's 5th floor (route 57). The location is also open to anyone looking for a meditation centre. Inside there is a 'Book of Thoughts' for people to write down whatever they may be thinking about at that moment.

Art in Bronovo

Bronovo takes a great interest in the arts. Everywhere in the building you will see paintings, lithographs, posters and sculptures. Most of these are items from Bronovo's permanent art collection.

In addition, temporary exhibitions are held in the hallways of the 1st and 2nd floors. These works of art can be purchased directly from the artists. To do so you should contact the artist (see information at the location of the exhibition).
For more information about the temporary exhibitions or the possibility of holding your own exhibition, you should contact Bronovo's Art Coordinator. She can be reached by e-mail: informatie@bronovo.nl

For current exhibitions, see the agenda.
