Visiting hours

Daily visiting times are between 15.30 - 16.30 hours and 18.30 - 19.30 hours.
Saturday and Sunday also between 11.15 - 12.15 hours.

In order to ensure the patients rest as much as possible, no more than two visitors per patient are allowed at one time.

On some wards visiting hours are different:

Intensive Care unit * Mondays to Fridays from 11.00 - 12.00 hours (except on holidays) and daily from 16.30 - 19.30 hours.
Coronary care unit * 10.00 - 10.30 hours and 18.30 - 19.30 hours.
* NB. Flowers and plants may not be brought or sent to patients in the units mentioned above.
Amalia maternity ward 10.00 - 19.30 hours.
Rest hours: 13.00 - 15.00 hours.
Paediatric Ward On the Paediatric Ward parents may visit throughout the day. They can also arrange with the ward nurse to stay with their child overnight.
Do not bring children with you who have been in contact with an infectious disease. This may not be harmful to the patient you are visiting but his/her fellow-patients may become infected.

Throughout the day, patients are being treated and examined - even during visiting hours. Of course, this is done as little as possible during visiting hours but, sometimes, it really cannot be avoided. We do hope that you will understand this.
