Bronovo Star Service

Introduction
You have been - or will shortly be - admitted as a patient to Bronovo Hospital. During your stay in our hospital, you can make use of the so-called ‘Star Service’. The hospital has introduced this extra program in order to cater more efficiently to patients' wishes and needs. The Star Service gives our patients the opportunity to obtain extra facilities.

The facilities offered include the following:

How can you make a reservation for the Bronovo Star Service arrangement?
If you wish to make use of one of these arrangements, please indicate your choice in advance at the Admission Office (Bureau Opname), tel. +31 (0)70 312 46 82. If you are hospitalised unexpectedly, you can order an arrangement during your stay in hospital from our or nutritionist's assistant. She will be visiting you daily.

Insurance
Before reserve the Star Service, we advise you to check the reimbursement with your insurance company.

What are the conditions of the Bronovo Star Service?
If you decide to make use of one of the Bronovo Star Service arrangements, you basically accept this service up to the time of your discharge from hospital. The service option may be terminated before this time if you are unable to make further use of it because you are too ill, or if you are unexpectedly discharged from the hospital.

The arrangements have a fixed daily charge. These prices date from 01-09-2006*. Payment is effected by direct debit after your admittance to the hospital. You will receive a direct debit mandate form. Please complete this form and hand it in to the nutritionist's assistant on the day of your admittance.

Unless otherwise stated, use of the television and telephone is not included in the arrangements and you will receive a separate bill.

The regular visiting rules apply to all arrangements: Visiting hours are from 15.30 - 16.30 hours and 18.30 - 19.30 hours daily, as well as from 11.00 - 12.00 hours on Saturdays. You are allowed to receive a maximum of two visitors at the same time in your room.

We advise you against ordering one of the arrangements with an extra meal service if the diet prescribed for you does not allow you to consume the extra dishes, or if you have to follow a liquid or pureed diet.

Availability of rooms
If you have indicated that you would like to be in a single or double room during your stay in hospital, the following information is of importance to you.
Unfortunately, we only know one working day in advance whether the room you have requested will actually be available.
In the unlikely event of the room not being available, the Admission Office (Bureau Opname) will seek the best possible alternative and will contact you by telephone to inform you of this.

In exceptional cases, we may transfer you to another room during your stay in hospital in order to make a single room available. The reason for this is that the room is required for a patient on urgent medical or social grounds. We will do our utmost to transfer you back to the room of your choice as soon as possible. Fortunately, this situation does not occur very often; the costs of the arrangement reserved by you will, of course, not be charged.

Examples: Croissants, de luxe bread rolls and fresh orange juice for breakfast. A different de luxe fish and/or meat dish than the one on the daily menu, a dish in season, a different dessert, a glass of wine or other beverage with your main meal. An extra dish, such as a croquette or fish dish with your lunch. Price: € 20 daily.

Arrangement 2 Double room Room facilities Double room. Price: € 100 daily.

Arrangement 3 Double room with meals service Meals/beverages You can supplement or alter the standard choice of dishes/beverages on the two menus that you receive every day. Examples: Croissants, de luxe bread rolls and fresh orange juice for breakfast. A different de luxe fish and/or meat dish than the one on the daily menu, a dish in season, a different dessert, a glass of wine or other beverage with your main meal. An extra dish, such as a croquette or fish dish with your lunch. Room facilities Double room. Price: € 120 daily.

Arrangement 4 Single room Room facilities Single room. Use of TV. Teaset and coffee pot. Price: € 175 daily.

Arrangement 5 Single room with meals service Meals/beverages You can supplement or alter the standard choice of dishes/beverages on the two menus that you receive every day. Examples: Croissants, de luxe bread rolls and fresh orange juice for breakfast. A different de luxe fish and/or meat dish than the one on the daily menu, a dish in season, a different dessert, a glass of wine or other beverage with your main meal. An extra dish, such as a croquette or fish dish with your lunch. Room facilities Single room. Teaset and coffee pot. Optional fridge/mini-bar. Use of TV. Other facilities Newspaper in Dutch or English. Price: € 195 daily.

Arrangement 6 Extra de luxe single room with meals service Please note! This arrangement is only available in the single room specially equipped for this, situated on the fourth floor. Meals/beverages You can supplement or alter the standard choice of dishes/beverages on the two menus that you receive every day. Examples: Croissants, de luxe bread rolls and fresh orange juice for breakfast. A different de luxe fish and/or meat dish than the one on the daily menu, a dish in season, a different dessert, a glass of wine or other beverage with your main meal. An extra dish, such as a croquette or fish dish with your lunch. Communication Fax, scanner, printer and laptop with internet connection. Room furnishings and facilities Spacious single room with desk, seat and table lamp. Fridge/mini-bar. Teaset and coffee pot. Fresh flowers. Other facilities Newspaper in Dutch or English. Option for a guest to stay the night. Price: € 275 daily. Important information Arrangement 6 It is possible that due to unforeseen circumstances, the specially-equipped single room is not available. In that case, you can choose a different arrangement. As a rule, mother and child care cannot be effected in this room. If you would like one of your guests to stay the night, the guest has the option of using the same facilities by ordering Arrangement 1 for € 20 a night.
