Bronovo Hospital Pelvic Floor Centre
The Bronovo Hospital Pelvic Floor Centre is a multidisciplinary centre for patients with pelvic floor problems. For both women and men. Urologists, gynaecologists, surgeons, gastro-enterologists, pelvic therapists and a sexologist work together in this centre for a fast and accurate diagnosis and an optimal treatment of pelvic floor problems.

Complaints treated by the Pelvic Floor Centre: 

• Urination problems, such as unwanted loss of urine, severe urge or very frequent need to urinate
• Defaecation problems, such as unwanted loss of faeces, constipation, urge without defaecation or difficult passage of faeces
• Problems of the anal area, such as loss of blood, haemorrhoids and pain or itching
• Problems associated with collapse, such as a heavy or ball-like feeling in the lower abdomen, problems with urinating to completion and poor, difficult defaecation

Procedure
In order to get a clear picture of your problems, it is important to have a lot of information about your symptoms. For this reason, you will receive a questionnaire after you have applied. Your answers will be used to estimate the exact nature of your problems. If one specific complaint is clearly evident, you will receive an appointment with the relevant specialist of the Pelvic Floor Centre. However, if the problem seems to be a combination of factors, your first visit will consist of a consultation with the various specialists involved.
