Location
The Paediatric outpatient clinic is located on the 2nd floor of Bronovo Hospital.

Make an appointment

• Make an appointment online: this is possible for your first appointment with the paediatricians and for appointments via ‘ZorgDomein’ (is a special quick refferal system between Bronovo and your GP/family doctor).
• Make an appointment on the phone: the outpatient clinic can be reached by phone Monday to Friday from 08.30 - 16.30 hours at phone number +31 (0)70 - 312 41 16.
• Paediatric patients can request repeat prescriptions by mail: receptenKinder@bronovo.nl

When you make a first appointment with one of the specialists in Bronovo Hospital you need a referral letter from your GP (Family Doctor). Otherwise it is possible that your Health Insurance Company will not pay for the costs of your treatment. If your Health Insurance Company does not refund the treatment costs, you will have to pay yourself and you will receive an invoice from Bronovo Hospital or from your Health Insurance Company.

Limited waiting times
Patients can usually be treated on the paediatric ward of our hospital within 1 or 2 weeks. If a general practitioner deems it necessary, a doctor can see a patient on the same day.

Collaboration
Bronovo Hospital collaborates closely with Haga Hospital (HagaZiekenhuis), location Juliana Children’s Hospital and Leiden University Medical Centre. In specific situations doctors from these hospitals may be consulted and asked for advice. A child may be transferred to one of these clinics if necessary. As soon as the condition of the child allows, it will be transferred back to our hospital for follow-up care.

Paediatric Care
Paediatricians are available for children from 0 to approximately 16 years. This not only applies to sick children, but also to children whose normal growth or development is threatened for whatever reason. The paediatrician guides not only the child, but the parents/guardians too. The hospital has a special children’s ward to which children can be admitted.

This national association awards the Smiley quality mark to hospitals that make an outstanding contribution through their service to young patients and their parents.
