Occupational Therapy is located at the ground floor of Bronovo Hospital and can be reached via the main entrance on Bronovolaan or via its own entrance on Hogenhoucklaan. Here you will find a small separate parking area.

Optimum functioning
Occupational therapists help people to function optimally in their living, social and work situations. Anyone who has a problem in these areas can, in fact, consult an occupational therapist.

The occupational therapist provides advice, training and counselling in the areas of, for example, self-sufficiency, mobility, housekeeping, hobbies, home adaptation and practical aids and also applies for provisions. The treatment can take place either at home or in the occupational therapy department. The occupational therapist, together with the client, seeks solutions to problems in day-to-day functioning.
The Bronovo occupational therapists work in the clinic itself, in the out-patient clinic and in home situations. This includes a collaboration with the plastic surgeons in the area of hand rehabilitation and with rheumatologists, neurologists and the rehabilitation specialist. Both specialists and general practitioners may refer patients to the occupational therapy department.
The health insurance standard package includes a maximum of 10 hours of occupational therapy per calendar year. Please check to see if your insurance policy has additional conditions for compensation.
