Location
The Hypertension Outpatient Clinic is part of the Internal Medicine Outpatient Department and is located at the 2nd floor.  

Consultation hours
The consultation hours are on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 08.30 and 17.00 hours.

Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
In  February 2009 Bronovo Hospital started an Hypertension Outpatient Clinic under supervision of Dr. Y.W.J. Sijpkens, internist-nephrologist, assisted by A.T.P. van Ittersum, nurse practitioner i.o.
High blood pressure (hypertension) are the main risk factor of cardiac and vascular diseases. About 25% of the adult population has high blood pressure; most of them are not aware of this or have a blood pressure which is not sufficiently under control. For optimal diagnostics and treatment, specialised know-how is necessary. The treatment of kidney diseases, overweight and diabetes can often be improved by normalising the blood pressure.
