Tinnitus
What can be done?
Tinnitus is a common and annoying complaint. Sometimes tinnitus is caused by an ENT condition. For this reason a specialised examination is always necessary. Usually, no medical abnormality is found. Some patients find the continuous ringing noise bothersome and even incapacitating. In collaboration with the Psychology department of Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC), we now offer a successful treatment in learning to cope with tinnitus. Please discuss this option with your specialist.
