The Nurse practitioner coloncare advises patients after a bowel operation through a special programme 'Fast recovery after a bowel operation’. With this extra care many complications can be avoided and patients can leave the hospital earlier.
In addition, the Nurse practitioner coloncare gives instructions, advice and support to patients who have been given or already have a colostomy and also patients following the abdominal survey. 

Both doctors and nurses as well as patients can ask for a consultation with the Nurse practitioner coloncare.
