We draw your attention to the fact that you can have blood samples taken on a Saturday and on Tuesdayevening at Bronovo Hospital. The hospital is of the opinion that, by opening on a Saturday and the mentioned evening, it will meet the needs of many working people.

Appointments
You do not need an appointment for most of the tests. However, for some tests you do, including those for an increased tendency to bleed. The laboratory can be contacted from 8.00 - 16.30 hours on telephone number 070 - 312 41 89 (not for results!).

If you need blood samples to be taken, please bring along an identity document, the application form filled in by your general practitioner, your insurance details and the hospital Registration Card. 

Preparation
For triglyceride (fat level) examination you need to be on an empty stomach. Please ensure that you have not eaten or drink anything since 22.00 hours of the previous evening. It may seem excessive to mention this, but the same applies for a “fasting glucose” examination.
Results of the examinations are sent to your treating physician as soon as they become available. He/she will discuss the results with you and determine whether you need to return for treatment or monitoring.
