Admission Desk
The Admissions Desk is the central point at which your admission is organised. In most cases the outpatient clinic will inform you of the date for your admission and operation, otherwise you will receive a telephone message from the Admissions Desk. We aim to inform you of the admission date well in advance, though this is not always possible.
You may be asked to come in at short notice, should a bed unexpectedly become available. You may contact the Admissions Desk one working day before the planned operation between 14.00 - 16.00 hours to request the admission time and ward, if you need to be admitted on an empty stomach or for an outpatient procedure. You may also contact the Admissions Desk with general questions concerning your admission. This is possible from Monday to Friday from 08.00 - 16.30 hours on telephone number +31 (0)70 - 312 46 82.
If you have been called, you may report to the relevant nursing ward at the arranged time or in the Central Hall of the hospital at the “Admissions” sign. You will be welcomed by one of the Volunteer Union employees, who will accompany you to the nursing ward.
What should you bring along to the hospital?
- an identification document: passport, identity card of driver’s licence
- the Registration Card with your details
Please check that the details on the Registration Card are correct. Should you find an error, please have a new card made at the Registration Desk in the Central Hall. You are urgently requested to inform us of any changes in address as soon as possible. If your phone number changes during the waiting period, please inform the Admissions Desk as well.
Adequate notice in case of cancellation The agreed date may become unsuitable due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case, please contact your treating physician. Doing this as early as possible may mean that someone else can benefit in your place. |
Waiting lists
Unfortunately, there are waiting lists for some clinical procedures that require admission. Perhaps you are worried about your place on the waiting list. Your general practitioner may always contact Bronovo Hospital if there is reason for concern.
