The Accident & Emergency department (A&E department)  is located to the left of the main entrance of the hospital. Take the first turn left from Van Alkemadelaan.
The entrance is marked by the sign: 'Spoedeisende Hulp'.

General information about the A&E department
Bronovo Hospital is a teaching hospital. This means that during your visit to the A&E department you will be attended to by A&E doctors or doctors in training to become internists or surgeons. These doctors are supervised by the medical specialists. The nursing team is made up of 30 nurses and five secretaries. This team also includes trainee A&E nurses. The aim of the A&E department is to provide a primary diagnosis and treatment plan in as short a time span as possible for patients with acute health problems, 24 hours a day, in order to prevent or limit the direct and indirect effects of the injury or illness.
